Y'all need to really STOP!

So basically this is the 21st century and everyone is trying so hard to keep head above waters. When we hear that statement 'keeping head above waters', what really comes to mind? Trying to make ends meet right? Working all day everyday to have a very comfortable life without stress right?

But my question is why??? Why is it that admist these already available worries of life, we still see people who come up with things to add even extra headache to the ones we are already suffering as humans. For instance, you see a man with a very minimal paying job,  happily married with a wife and kids whom he's struggling to take care of, but still see that same man eyeing fat Amaka with big 'bum bum' and infact promising her heaven and earth, the one he hasn't even experienced himself o!

Habaaaa Oga wetin you dey find???

My people why add stress to your life like that nau! Or is it a girl who hasn't completed schooling, no job, and from a very average family? Whose parents are suffering day in, day out to fend for her, pay her fees and put food in her stomach as she journeys her way up the academic ladder of success. And instead of pretty girl managing herself and helping her parents in very little ways she could to support them, no! You see her exhorting money, making up stories here and there in order to get extra money; hard earned money, telling her parents that school fee is 100 thousand naira when it's really 45 thousand naira, why? Because she has to 'keep up' with the appearance she has portrayed as 'posh ajebo' kid from the 'London areas' in Lagos, thereby making her parents suffer and suffer...

Why!

Why won't we learn to be true to ourselves and people around us? Ladies and gentlemen this is 21st century, we need to open our eyes and think! We can't be allowing ourselves and those around us suffer just because of little selfish gains of ours.

The earlier the better! Happy New YearπŸ₯°
